Travelling from Appleby GO to Hamilton GO station requires about 30 minutes. Keep in mind that not all trains travel to Hamilton during off-peak hours and you may need to connect with a GO bus.

In June of 1997, the Itabashi Bridge was donated by Burlington’s twin city of Itabashi, Japan. The bridge is 20 metres long by 4 metres wide and spans Shoreacres Creek near the Tansley Woods Community Centre. The cities of Burlington and Itabashi celebrated their 25th Twinning Anniversary in 2014.
