Quiet, tree canopied winding streets, green spaces, and proximity to the activities and adventures of the Niagara Escarpment make Brant Hills an excellent community to settle into for the long term.
Brant Hills has been a family friendly neighbourhood for the past 50 to 60 years; ideal for its walkability to schools, close proximity to recreational play, and for its commuting convenience.
Wide ranging and affordably priced home ownership options are found in Brant Hills. The neighbourhood was developed during the 1960’s/70’s. Detached two storey houses, bungalows in the traditional, raised or ranch styles, and side and back splits mingle with entry level semi-detached homes and townhouse complexes, but condominium units are rather limited.
The Brant Hills Library, Community Centre, and Park, is a neighbourhood recreational favourite with a variety of educational and general interest programs, gymnasiums, basketball and tennis, baseball diamonds, and playground. The trails, conservation areas and golf courses of rural Burlington are a short drive north of Dundas Street. Step back into history with a visit to the Ireland House Museum; the restored property to one of the area’s earliest settlers. Attend a special event, take a tour, or simply enjoy the gardens and the four acres of woodlands.
A multitude of shopping plazas along the major boundary routes, and small neighbourhood stops, cover everything from grocery, retail shopping, professional services, take-out and sit down restaurants.
Brant Hills households consist of families. Residential, tree-lined streets are excellent for walking, biking and kid’s games. Private, fenced back yards enhanced with vegetable and flower gardens are the gathering place for relatives, friends and neighbours to enjoy one another’s company under the shade of tall trees. Family life in Brant Hills is good.
The Brant Hills Community Centre is host to city-run pickleball programs in the summer. Since you asked … pickleball is a racquet sport combining elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
