International Relocation
Moving to a new country is a massive undertaking.

Moving to a new country is a massive undertaking. Whether you are relocating for work, or for a better life, finding accommodation will be the first priority. Do you search for your new home before or after your arrival?
Either way, the first step is to work with a REALTOR® proficient in relocation services.
If your employer is moving you, the company may send you to search for suitable housing to either lease or buy. This can frequently be a whirlwind of property showings over the span of as little as a week. Time is truly of the essence and there will be a finite number of properties you can visit in a single day. Hopefully, you asked for help in advance, and have been receiving emails of possible candidate properties. These advance listings help you acquaint yourself with house style options and market value. Your feedback in return helps your REALTOR® select the best candidates to see when you do come for your initial and maybe only pre-arrival visit.
Rely on your agent for advice on the neighbourhoods best suited to your family needs. Be flexible if possible. Housing prices in the region are quite high, and your initial budget may not get you the home you need.
Some may choose to stay in short term accommodations such as an air B&B and search subsequent to their arrival. The advantage to this approach is the ability to visit potential properties in person and tour various neighbourhoods. Others may quickly locate a long term rental to give them the opportunity to explore the area before deciding where to ultimately settle.
Each approach has its own advantages and disadvantages, and I have greatly simplified a somewhat complex process. It’s thrilling to introduce families to the area I myself call “home”. Truly, one of the most rewarding aspects of my business.
